Stephan Bonnar Allegedly Booted From Gym For Not Wearing Mask: "I Have Asthma!"

Stephan Bonnar was allegedly kicked out of his longtime gym for breaking COVID-19 protocols.

The incident appears to have occurred on Sunday, marking his 44th birthday. In the video, the UFC Hall of Famer alleges to have been kicked out of a gym for wearing his mask incorrectly. Bonnar asserts he has a medical exemption before spreading misinformation about the novel coronavirus.

“I’ve been coming to this gym 14 years, getting kicked out on my birthday because one of these sheep was complaining that my mask was dropping," Bonnar told watchers on in the video. "Well guess what sheep, I got a medical exemption; I have asthma. I’m doing you a favor by even playing pretend. Masks don’t do anything. Wake up you sheep! Tattletales! Cowards!"

Bonnar (15-9) has not competed professionally since a split decision loss to Tito Ortiz at Bellator 131 in November 2014. His last UFC fight was a first-round TKO loss to Anderson Silva in 2012.
