Nick Diaz is reportedly readying for a return to the Octagon in 2021 and another fighter has now called him out, with that fighter being Stephen Thompson.
Thompson made the call out through Twitter:

One reason that Thompson believes that he should fight Diaz is that he’d provide a great test for the Stockton native.
“I think it would be a great test back for him,” Thompson said on Submission Radio (via MMA Fighting). “I’m ranked No. 6 right now. Obviously, he’s trying to move up the rankings, if he beats somebody in the top-10, maybe one or two more fights and he could be fighting for the title because he’s got a name. We’ve seen guys do that, guys who are popular in the division.”
There is no word yet on an exact date for Diaz’s return or whom the fighter will face when stepping back into the Octagon.
