A women?s strawweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Columbus as #13 Tecia Torres faces Mizuki Inoue.
The UFC announced the bout through their UFC Japan Twitter page.
Torres (10-5-0) enters the contest riding a four fight losing streak, suffering losses to Jessica Andrade, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Weili Zhang and Marina Rodriguez. Torres hasn?t picked up a victory in over two years, with that last win coming over Michelle Waterson at UFC 218. Torres has competed a total of fifteen times as a professional MMA fighter and fourteen of those encounters went the distance.
Inoue (14-5-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having defeated Yanan Wu by split decision at UFC Fight Night Shenzhen. Inoue has previously challenged for the Invicta FC Strawweight Title, suffering a split decision loss to then champion Virna Jandiroba at Invicta FC 28. Inoue has picked up fourteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and nine of them have come by way of submission.
UFC Fight Night Columbus takes place on Saturday, March 28 from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio with Francis Ngannou and Jairzinho Rozenstruik headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
