UFC Fight Night Saskatoon & UFC Fight Night Austin Are Officially Canceled

Two more UFC events have been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, with those cards being UFC Fight Night Saskatoon and UFC Fight Night Austin.

The UFC issued the following statement on the cancellations:

UFC STATEMENT ON JUNE 20 AND JUNE 27 EVENTS

Official statement regarding UFC Fight Nights scheduled for Saskatoon and Austin.

UFC Fight Night, Saskatoon (June 20)

“Due to current national and provincial restrictions on public gatherings and travel, UFC Fight Night originally scheduled for June 20th at SaskTel Centre will not continue as planned in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. UFC looks forward to returning with an event in the near future.”

UFC Fight Night, Austin (June 27)

“Due to restrictions regarding public events, UFC Fight Night originally scheduled for June 27th will not continue as planned in Austin. UFC looks forward to returning with an event in the near future.

No main event was announced for UFC Fight Night Austin, but UFC Fight Night Saskatoon was supposed to be headlined by Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov. UFC Fight Night Saskatoon has already been replaced by a card that is supposed to happen at the UFC Apex, but no plans have been announced for June 27 at this time.
