Video: Cody Garbrandt Kicked Off Plane After Altercation With Flight Attendant

Cody Garbrandt was allegedly removed from a Southwest Airlines flight after a mask-related altercation with a flight attendant.

Garbrandt posted an eight-second video to Instagram on Thursday. In the video, Garbrandt walks down a flight attendant who appears to be hiding in an on-flight bathroom. Another flight attendant tries to defuse the situation. The confrontation allegedly started over a dispute about Garbrandt's 2-year-old son not wearing his face mask correctly.

"Fuck @southwestair," the former UFC bantamweight champion caption the video. "Got kicked off because my 2-year-old son wouldn’t put his mask over his face. This coward flight attendant hid his bitch ass in the bathroom."

Garbrandt later joked about giving the flight attendant a swirly.

Garbrandt was scheduled to fight Deiveson Figueiredo for the UFC men's flyweight title; however, "No Love" pulled out due to long-term health complications from COVID-19. Garbrandt (12-3) is coming off a second-round knockout win over Rafael Assuncao. That victory snapped a three-fight losing streak consisting of knock losses to T.J. Dillashaw (twice) and Pedro Munhoz.
