The One Championship Welterweight Title is going to be defended in the main event of One Championship 91 as Zebaztian Kadestam defends the gold against Georgiy Kichigan.
Kadestam (11-4-0) is going to be making the first defense of his title, which the fighter won by defeating Tyler McGuire via fifth round TKO at One Championship: Warrior’s Dream. Kadestam is a former Pacific Xtreme Combat Welterweight Champion, defeating Josh Calvo at PXC 44 to claim that belt. Kadestam has picked up eleven wins as a professional MMA fighter and nine of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Kichigan (19-5-0) is going to be making his One Championship debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a thirteen fight winning streak. Kichigan is a former Fight Night Global Welterweight Champion, defeating Gadzhimurad Khiramagomedov to win the gold at FNG 65. Kichigan has also fought UFC veterans before, last defeating Rousimar Palhares by first round TKO at Russian Cagefighting Championship 5.
