We're getting more surprises in the brand new Cruiserweight title tournament.
It was announced at the end of 205 Live that Hideo Itami will take on NXT's Roderick Strong and Lince Dorado will face off against his ally Kalisto in opening round matches of the tournament. This will mark Roderick Strong's first match on the main WWE roster.
The tournament to crown a new champion was announced tonight by the new General Manager of 205 Live, Drake Maverick, formerly known as Rockstar Spud. Maverick announced a tournament to crown a new Cruiserweight champion that would start tonight and culminate at Wrestlemania. Cedric Alexander defeated Gran Metalik and TJP defeated Tyler Bate to advance in the tournament.
