AEW’s Plan Is To Keep The Butcher On The AEW Roster Page Permanently
The Butcher will remain on AEW’s roster page permanently.
Earlier this month, on September 6, Andy Williams, who wrestled as The Butcher, passed away. The September 12 edition of AEW Collision was later announced as a tribute show for Williams.
Previously, Fightful Select had reported that Tony Khan insisted The Butcher and his tag partner, The Blade, remain on the roster page for All Elite Wrestling after they became free agents earlier in April.
Fightful Select is now reporting that “the plan is to keep The Butcher on the AEW roster page permanently, much like Brodie Lee.” More details are available for subscribers.
