Drew McIntyre Cast In ‘The Last Druid’

A new role for Drew McIntyre.

Deadline reports that Drew McIntyre has been cast in “The Last Druid.” Russell Crowe stars in the film, which is currently shooting in Spain.

The description reads, “A quarter century after Gladiator, the movie will tell the story of a Roman Emperor who discovers a secluded Druid stronghold in the mountains of Caledonia. A peaceful Celtic elder (Crowe) must take up arms to protect his family and people from annihilation.”

McIntyre recently worked with Crowe the “Highlander” reboot.

McIntyre has been off WWE television since losing to Jacob Fatu in an unsanctioned match at WrestleMania 42. It is unknown when he will return.
