Kofi says that the New Level’s impending debut at AEW All In was ‘the worst kept secret on the internet’ as everyone seemed to know.

At AEW All In earlier this year, The New Level (Kofi and Austin Creed) would debut for All Elite Wrestling, teaming with Swerve Strickland to capture the Trios Championships. At the time, it was speculated and reported that the pair would make their debuts at the event.

While speaking on the latest episode of The Mick and Kenny show, Kofi noted that The New Level’s AEW debut was ‘the worst kept secret on the internet.’

“So I think it was like the worst kept secret on the Internet because everyone seemed to know that we were going to be here. However, we didn’t put ink to paper in terms of a contract until less than 24 hours before we went out. So it was never like guaranteed. But again, the theme is manifestation, right? This is where we wanted to be. We envisioned ourselves being here competing against all these great tag teams. all these great trios, teams, and sure enough, it happened, and as a matter of fact, we were the first people to win a title on our first night on AEW. There have been people who have done it in their first match, but it’s been like their second appearance. For us to do that on the first night was record-breaking. No one’s ever done that before, so…”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Kofi spoke about getting to work for Tony Khan. You can read more about that here.
