Sol has had a hectic career so far, quickly becoming a popular name on the WWE NXT brand before making her main roster debut earlier this year, currently holding the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
While speaking to the Italian Wrestling Channel in an interview, Sol Ruca was asked about who she looked up to when watching wrestling while younger. While Sol explained that she didn’t watch in her youth, she did point to IYO SKY as an inspiration once she began watching wrestling.
“So someone that I looked up to was definitely IYO SKY as soon as I started watching.”
When asked what she would be doing as a career if not for her wrestling career, Sol pointed to two alternative careers.
“I wanted to be a stunt double, so that was something that I was working on. I also wanted to be a chiropractor, that’s what I went to school for. But, I mean, I feel like most things kind of work with wrestling, so, I mean, yeah.”
