Tommaso Ciampa talks tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite in his hometown of Boston, Massachusetts, teasing something special.
Ciampa has been a staple of AEW programming since making his debut with the promotion earlier this year, and has been feuding with Chris Jericho as of late. Now, he is seemingly turning his attention back to something he wants: the AEW World Title.
While speaking to Boston 25 News in a new interview, Tommaso Ciampa was asked about AEW’s upcoming tapings on Wednesday and Thursday in Boston, noting that he will be keeping an eye on Kenny Omega’s World Title celebration while also teasing something special for the Boston crowd.
“It’s unreal. The fact that we’re at MGM Music Hall right across from Fenway. Wednesday’s almost sold out. Thursday, some tickets available. Kenny Omega’s first time as world champ. He’s addressing the crowd, supposedly celebrating in my city. I’ll have my eyes on that. Wink, wink. Hint, hint, and I don’t know what’s in store exactly for me. I know Mercedes has a six-woman trio match. I’ve been told that we’ll be doing something pretty special for the Boston crowd. I’m excited for that. The shirt farm shirts will be there in full attendance for Boston. It’s just going to be a good time, man.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Ciampa spoke about when he wanted to end his storyline with Johnny Gargano. You can read more about that here.
