- CM Punk is not scheduled to be on Tuesday's episode of WWE Backstage. Triple H will join the show from the WWE Performance Center.
- Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer noted Vince McMahon was reportedly "furious" at Seth Rollins for responding to the "CM Punk" chants and teasing a match that WWE can't deliver at the moment.
- Jerry Lawler with an unfortunate error on Raw.
- The Guardian did a story on David Starr.
- Chuck Carroll of CBS spoke with Xavier Woods, who noted there is no timetable for his return from Achilles tear. "Could be 5 months. Could be 9 months. There's a lot of wiggle room," said Woods.
- NXT UK has Jordan Devlin vs. A-Kid, Jinny vs. Piper Niven and Ashton Smith vs. Noam Dar this week.
- Hugo Savinovich spoke to Sportskeeda about Cain Velasquez reminding him of Rey Mysterio.
"One of the most beautiful people you could ever meet. Cain Velasquez reminds me of Rey Mysterio. They're people that have achieved success in their field and yet, their heart is so humble. I spent a whole week doing a publicity tour with him in New York. I got to meet him and his agent, Mike. They are just successful people with an appetite for getting better at what they do! He has the potential to become so good in our business. He's making good money. Don't get me wrong. But I think Cain's success is based on passion. Whatever he commits to do, well he's like a Rey Mysterio. They will not do anything just for the money."
