On June 17, 2026, All Elite Wrestling hosted a new episode of Dynamite on the Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land, Texas.

AEW Dynamite (6/17/2026).

  • Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland face-to-face
  • MJF and Mark Briscoe announce their Forbidden Door team
  • 12-vMan Tag Team Match: Team MJF vs. Team Briscoe
  • Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Semifinals: Mercedes Moné vs. Hazuki
  • Death Riders (Jon Moxley & Daniel Garcia) vs. Brodido (Brody King & Bandido).

First Hour.

  • Don Callis announced that Team DCMJF will be MJF, Andrade, Kyle Fletcher, Kazuchika Okada, Jake Doyle & Kevin Knight at Forbidden Door. Andrade was irate by this, but Callis told him to do the match.
  • Kenny Omega def. Tony Nese (w/ Ariya Daivari & Mark Sterling).
    • TMDK (Zack Sabre Jr., Mikey Nicholls & Bad Dude Tito) confronted Omega after the match. Young Bucks & Jack Perry appeared to back Omega up. Omega told ZSJ they wanted a one-on-one bout.
  • Brodido (Brody King & Bandido) def. Death Riders (Jon Moxley & Daniel Garcia).
  • Kyle Fletcher & Kazuchika Okada attacked Tomohiro Ishii backstage.
  • The Dogs (David Finlay & Clark Connors) were attacked by Christian Cage & Adam Copeland. Cage made fun of Finlay, while Copeland challenged The Dogs for AEW x NJPW x CMLL x STARDOM Forbidden Door.
  • THEKLA cut a promo calling out Starlight Kid.

Second Hour.

  • Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Semifinals: Mercedes Moné def. Hazuki.
  • There was a vignette promoting the Semifinal Match between Athena & Maya World for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
  • Swerve Strickland & Will Ospreay had a face-off. Strickland said he had a problem with Ospreay being all buddy-buddy with The Death Riders, but Ospreay questioned why Strickland did not help him on All In Texas. Ospreay told Swerve that this match was bigger than just the Owen Cup, calling it the semifinals of his own World Cup. Ospreay reiterated he would hesitate to end Swerve if he needed to to achieve his dream, but Swerve responded by saying not if he did it first. Regarding Ospreay’s path to Wembley, Swerve said this: “No, FUCK THAT! I’m done stepping aside for opportunities that I deserve”. Strickland then said that this Ospreay was not better than him on his worst day with a fragile neck. Ospreay then shoved Swerve. Swerve then pulled a chain, but the Death Riders entered.
  • Team MJF (MJF, Andrade El Idolo, Kyle Fletcher, Kazuchika Okada, Jake Doyle & Kevin Knight) def. Team Briscoe (Mark Briscoe, Kyle O’Reilly, Cassidy, Roderick Strong, Konosuke Takeshita & Darby Allin).
