The rematch is set.
AEW announced that Jon Moxley will defend the AEW World Title against Kenny Omega on the December 2 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Omega earned an AEW World Title match by virtue of winning the number one contenders tournament at Full Gear. Omega defeated his former tag team partner Hangman Page in the finals of the tournament. At the end of the night, Omega confronted Moxley following his victory over Eddie Kingston in an I Quit match.
Omega and Moxley previously met at Full Gear 2019 in a Lights Out match with Moxley picking up the victory.
Omega has vowed revenge ever since the loss.
