AJ Styles Helped Produce Kendal Grey Vs. Lola Vice NXT Women’s Title Underground Match On 8/4 WWE NXT

AJ Styles says he helped produce this week’s NXT main event match between Kendal Grey and Lola Vice.

On the 8/4 episode of NXT, Kendal Grey defended her NXT Women’s Championship against Lola Vice in an Underground match. This was the third match in their rivalry, where Grey ended up winning.

Following the match, Lola Vice bid farewell to NXT.

On The AJ Styles Show recently, AJ Styles commented on this match and revealed that he was one of the producers.

“There were two of us, two producers in that match, Moss and myself. There’s not much you need to do in a match like this because these girls are so good. But if you watch it, there are some sprinkles of AJ Styles in there that you’ll go, ‘Oh yeah, that makes sense.’ But the truth is, Moss and I didn’t have to do very much because they are so good at what they do, both these girls. Kendal’s not just a wrestler, by the way. She took all kinds of mixed martial arts. You can tell when she starts throwing punches, you’re like, ‘Wait a second.’ Then Lola is the same. She can throw and her kicks are just freaking awesome. When you see them, you go, ‘Hold on a second. That doesn’t look fake at all.’ The way they do certain things, it’s just unbelievable. This match that they had, whoever came up with it, and put them in it – perfect. It was perfect. They’re so good.”
