Another long overdue name is set for a WWE Hall of Fame induction.
PWInsider reports that "Ravishing" Rick Rude will be inducted into the 2017 Hall of Fame class in Orlando, Florida WrestleMania weekend.
A former 3-time WCW International World Heavyweight Champion, Rude isn't necessarily remembered as much for his reigns with "The Big Gold Belt," as much as his WWF Intercontinental title and WCW United States title runs. His U.S. Title reign was the second longest of all-time
Rude had multiple runs in both WWF and WCW, and a short stay in ECW. Rude also had the distinction of appearing on Monday Night Raw as a member of DX and Monday Nitro as a member of the NWO in the same night.
Rude also has ties to Florida, as he performed for CWF -- and managed by another Hall of Famer in Paul Bearer.
