Anthony Bowens talks about how comfortable he was from the second he stepped foot in All Elite Wrestling as an openly gay wrestler.

Bowens has been with All Elite Wrestling over the course of the past 6 years, debuting with the promotion in 2020, later becoming a full time member of the companies roster.

While speaking to Rock 105.3 in a new interview, Anthony Bowens spoke about how comfortable he has been as an openly gay man since debuting with AEW.

“So I’ve never had any issue in terms of people backstage, in terms of management, anything like that. I felt comfortable the second I stepped foot in with the company, even before I was signed, when I was having matches,  I was trying to find opportunities to get signed there, and I was kind of just looking around at the roster and seeing the people like- we have Nyla Rose, who was the first trans woman to win a women’s championship there, we had Sonny Kiss, at the time, who was gender fluid, and I’m just like, this seems like a very welcoming company, which is great.”

Elsewhere in another interview, Bowens spoke about The New Day potentially signing with AEW. You can read more about that here.
