NXT:

Kevin Owens To Team With Randy Orton Against Solo Sikoa And Tama Tonga At WWE Backlash

- The main event of NXT, which was the first night of the Great American Bash, saw NXT Women's Champion Io Shirai face Sasha Banks in a non-title match. Late in the match, Asuka appeared out of nowhere to help Shirai win the match.

- Triple H was proud of what NXT did tonight.

- The upcoming match between Adam Cole and Keith Lee set for next week got the Prime Target treatment and you can check it out below.

- The second night of the Great American Bash next week will feature Mercedes Martinez, a street fight and a six-man tag team match.

- Karrion Kross and Scarlett say they are redefining NXT.

- Kicking off tonight's episode of NXT, Tegan Nox won a fatal four-way match to become the No. 1 Contender to the NXT Women's Championship. After the match, Nox was overjoyed in a backstage interview.

- In other match results, Dexter Lumis defeated Roderick Strong in a strap match and Timothy Thatcher defeated Oney Lorcan.

- Below are highlights of Rhea Ripley vs. Aliyah & Robert Stone in a handicap match.

AEW:

- Several AEW title matches took place tonight on the first night of Fyter Fest. The main event saw Kenny Omega and Hangman Page defend their World Tag Team Championship against Best Friends. But the real MVP was Trent's mom, who dropped off Best Friends just in time for the match.

- The other two title matches that took place tonight was Hikaru Shida defending her AEW Women's Championship against Penelope Ford and Cody defending the TNT Championship against Jake Hager.

- Darby Allin says "What do you mean I'm not medically cleared?!"

- There's been a couple of changes to next week's Fyter Fest schedule, one of which includes a major match being moved to what is now being called the Fight For The Fallen edition of AEW Dynamite on July 15.

- AEW President Tony Khan thoroughly enjoyed Fyter Fest tonight.

- The AEW Puppy Battle Royale is announced!

- Tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite kicked off with a tag team match between the team of Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy and the team of MJF and Wardlow.

- But before the match began, MJF cut a scathing promo on his opponents.
