Friends will be foes at Summerslam, if Bayley has her way.
WWE Smackdown Women's Champion Bayley has laid down a challenge for this year's Summerslam. Following their successful tag team match against Fire & Desire's Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, Bayley was asked who she wanted to take on next in her title defense. Bayley implied that she wanted to face someone with charisma and that she hadn't faced before, as she officially challenged Ember Moon.
An ecstatic Ember Moon would accept. The two have never squared off in singles competition on WWE television, but have teamed up numerous times, as recently as The Shield's Final Chapter in April. Bayley and Ember would also face each other in tag team competition, including last year's Mixed Match Challenge.
WWE commentator Tom Phillips noted that the match wasn't official as of yet.
WWE Summerslam takes place from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on August 11.
