Bayley Says That Ronda Rousey Will Not Take Any Spotlight From Her & Talks A Potential Match With Sasha Banks At WrestleMania

"Everyone's Favorite Hugger" is confident that her spot is locked in on Monday Night RAW.

Emerging from NXT, former NXT Women's Champion Bayley, was one of the most popular characters coming out the brand. Since her arrival onto the main roster, things have not went over as smooth with her character as many would've thought. Nonetheless, Bayley has won the RAW Women's Championship once, and she looks to earn it again. But with the arrival of "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey to the RAW brand, Bayley's chances of getting what was once hers, looks a little slim.

While speaking with Newshub, Bayley told the site that although Rousey is going to be a member of WWE's women's division for the next seven years, her spot on the red-brand is very secured.

"She isn't taking my spot, she is not stopping me from achieving my dreams just because she is here," Bayley added, "She has touched so many different people in the world of sports. People want to see Ronda Rousey because she is an attraction. I have people come up to me at my gym and they tell me they are going to watch because they are big UFC fans. I don't feel like she is taking the spotlight away from us; if anything, it is pushing us to be better because she is getting that spotlight, so we have to push harder to keep our spot. My goal is to be the women's champion, to main event on a regular basis, to be at WrestleMania. It doesn't matter to me who comes in, they are not taking my spot unless they earn it."

Although Bayley's path to WrestleMania 34 is not clear, there has been tension between her and her "best-friend", former 4-time RAW Women's Champion, Sasha Banks. During the first-ever Women's Elimination Chamber match, the two former NXT standouts would attempt to take one another out of the match. The next night on RAW, Bayley would drop from the ring apron while Banks was looking for the tag, causing more dissension between the two. Bayley stated that she would love to have a match against "The Legit Boss" in New Orleans, but all it comes down to the two women having enough time to tell their story.

"I guess everybody feels that pressure given it is WrestleMania season and nobody really knows what's going on unless you are in a championship match. Last year I felt safe because I was the champion, but now, yeah, it is a little nerve racking. I want to be on the card in any form, whatever it takes is what we are all willing to do. I would love for it to be against Sasha but I just don't know if there is enough room for us to give that match the time it deserves. But we have a really good connection to the point that anytime we can tell that story, we would be able to. If now is a good time, I would to start that up again if we are able to."
