Bayley Says She Would Love To Do Another Long-Term Program With Sasha Banks Before They Retire

Even as Bayley is enjoying her time as the SmackDown Women's Champion alongside her friend Sasha Banks, Bayley admits that she still would love to have a long-term program with her.

Bayley and Banks had their memorable match for the NXT Women's Championship at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn back in 2015 and since then, both women went to achieve a lot of success on both Raw and SmackDown. One thing that Bayley still wishes to do before retiring is to do another major storyline with Banks for the SmackDown Women's Championship, per an interview she did with Steven Muehlhausen of Sporting News.

"It's something that I've always dreamed about, especially after Takeover five years ago. That was supposed to be our first match. Afterward, I was like, 'Oh, my God, when are we ever going to get to do this again? I'm going to miss her so much.' She's my favorite person to be in the ring with. Luckily, throughout my time on 'Raw' and 'SmackDown,' I've been able to share every WrestleMania with her and almost every pay-per-view. We've been tag team champions. I'm so grateful that we're doing stuff together every single year. That's definitely something I would love to do again before we both retire," Bayley said.

Both Bayley and Banks technically shared the ring at WrestleMania 36 when Bayley defended her title against Banks, Lacey Evans, Naomi and Tamina in a fatal five-way elimination match, but Banks did not make it into the final two. Bayley ended up winning the match to retain the title, last beating Evans.
