Becky Lynch Gives Her Take On Why Fans Gravitate Towards Her

Becky has the "it" factor.

The "Irish Lasskicker" Becky Lynch was the first-ever SmackDown Live Women's Champion and after three months as champion Becky lost the title to Alexa Bliss at the 2016 'TLC' PPV. Since her feud with Alexa Bliss, Becky has not been involved in the SmackDown Women's Championship picture in a singles program since then. It had been well over a year since Becky had a one-on-one shot at the SmackDown Live Women's Championship and that streak seemingly was set to come to an end until her best-friend Charlotte Flair defeated the current champion Carmella to be inserted into the Becky's SmackDown Women's Title match at SummerSlam.

Since Charlotte's addition to the match Becky has stated on WWE programming that she is happy for Charlotte but wanted the opportunity for herself. Nonetheless the fans have been backing Becky Lynch and she notices the support and during a recent interview with Mirror Sport's Neil Docking, Becky Lynch discussed why she believes that the fans always seem to end up in her corner.

"I think it's that struggle, do you know what I mean? And I think it's that fight for.... for the lack of a better term, for good versus evil. It's not being a pushover and it's realizing when you've been wronged and standing up for yourself." She said. "It's about obstacles and it is for most people - this isn't wrestling, this is in life - for most people things don't come easy to them. It's constantly an uphill battle and you've got to struggle for things but you've got to keep focused and you've got to keep on that path. I think the audience can sense that and I think they can also sense that I really appreciate them, as much as they show their support towards me. I think that really helps, and I never take it for granted."

During a recent interview, Charlotte Flair gave her take on the SmackDown Live Women's Championship match at SummerSlam and stated that she was not expecting to be a part of SummerSlam let alone be added to a championship match. To read more of that, click here.
