The win extends Best Friends’ current win streak to five matches, climbing their way up the rankings and now have secured their first title shot in AEW. Best Friends entered the match ranked as the No. 1 team in the AEW Tag Team Rankings while Private Party were ranked No. 3.
Both Omega and Page aren’t defending the titles tonight, but they are scheduled to be a part of the Stadium Stampede taking place later in the show, being a part of The Elite going up against The Inner Circle.
