Big E Qualifies For 2021 WWE Money In The Bank Ladder Match

The field for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match continues to fill out.

On the June 25 episode of WWE SmackDown, Big E faced Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match. The two men have been at odds since before WrestleMania 37 when Crews was chasing Big E for the title he now holds. Apollo would introduce his Commander Azeez around that time, and his presence has been invaluable in earning him the belt and helping him hold onto it.

After a back and forth battle, Big E would pin Apollo for the win and gain his place on the July 18 event. He joins Riddle, Ricochet, and John Morrison, who all qualified this past Monday night on Raw. Four more spots need to be filled. One of which will come on Monday when AJ Styles, Drew McIntyre, and Randy Orton face off in a triple threat match. Another will be decided next Friday when Kevin Owens goes up against Sami Zayn in a Last Man Standing Match.
