Billie Kay Says Her Body Went Limp After She & Peyton Royce Won Women's Tag Titles At WrestleMania

The IIconics were immediately overwhelmed.

On Sunday at WrestleMania, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce were able to realize their dream and become WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. They were involved in a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team match and WWE Hall Of Famer Beth Phoenix had just hit a top-rope "Glam Slam" onto Bayley and as Beth was pinning Bayley, Peyton Royce ran in from behind and pushed Beth to the outside and finished the job and won the titles for herself and Billie.

The Aussie-action squad have known each other since they were teenagers and are now holding tag team gold in WWE. Billie Kay and Peyton spoke with the Australian media following WrestleMania and Billie described the moment when the referee's hand hit the mat for the three count and she shared that her body immediately became numb.

(Quotes by way of 'The Queensland Times'):

"Everything kind of went silent, but I heard the three count and then my body just went into this really big noodle, and I kind of just collapsed," she said. "I remember Peyton coming in, and us just crying our eyes out, and then we got handed these championships. I will never feel something like that again in my entire life and I am so damn proud of us. This is what we worked for and, man, we did it."

The SmackDown after WrestleMania is tonight and last night was the RAW after WrestleMania and to read the results from that show, head over to Fightful's "results" page.
