Taro Okada Explains Why He Felt Stardom Had To Dismiss Rossy Ogawa

- WWE SmackDown ended with Drew McIntyre defeating Sami Zayn in a hard-fought bout. After the match, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and The Usos brutally attacked McIntyre. Reigns told his challenger at WWE Clash at the Castle that he'd never reach the mountaintop until Reigns himself decided he's done with it.

- SmackDown featured the semi-finals of the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Tournament. Natalya and Sonya Deville won a "Second Chance" four-way bout to earn a spot in the semi-finals, where they lost to Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah.

- Ricochet kept rolling as he scored a hard-fought win over Happy Corbin, who was disheartened after his latest loss.

- A video package recapped Shayna Baszler's path of destruction.

- Sheamus and WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther had a tense confrontation ahead of their match at WWE Clash at the Castle. Sheamus claimed that he's the true ring general, while Gunther vowed to show him what violence is all about.

- The New Day returned and faked out the Viking Raiders. Xavier Woods was in a wheelchair, but when Erik and Ivar came to the ring, he hopped to his feet and took the fight to the duo alongside Kofi Kingston.

- A two-part video package chronicled Drew McIntyre's journey to WWE Clash at the Castle. The first chapter featured his road to WWE in the first place, whereas the second part focused on his journey back to the company, his WWE Championship win, and his quest to regain the gold.

- The Maximum Male Models vandalized a bus that they thought belonged to Hit Row. The latter stable arrived and challenged the group to a match next week. They also informed their foes that the bus belonged to the Street Profits.

- Karrion Kross sent a message to Drew McIntyre and warned him that his time might be now, or it may not. He told him to savor the moment because he could take him down at any given moment.

- Sheamus took to Twitter to remind the world that he puts on a lot of bangers.

- WWE shared images of Drew McIntyre in the aftermath of The Bloodline's assault.

- In a WWE Digital Exclusive, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY previewed the finals of the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Tournament. Kai noted that she has plenty of history with Raquel Rodriguez, so she knows her weaknesses. She declared that the match will be a war. Bayley shared her belief that Aliyah is "done for", and she can't imagine how she'll feel on Monday.

AEW Rampage

- CM Punk addressed his loss to Jon Moxley in the Undisputed AEW World Championship on AEW Dynamite on Wednesday, where he seemingly hurt his foot again. Backstage footage showed officials helping Punk, who said he couldn't put any weight on his foot. When asked, he stated that he didn't feel a pop when his foot gave out; he didn't feel anything, and that concerned him because that's what happened when he injured his foot in the first place.

- AEW Rampage kicked off with a match in the AEW World Trios Championship Tournament. Thanks to a timely assist from Miro, the Dark Order defeated the House of Black to advance to the next round.

- After the bell, the House of Black attacked Miro until Darby Allin and Sting made the save.

- TBS Champion Jade Cargill challenged Athena to a match at AEW All Out. The two women brawled, and the broadcast team confirmed the match for the show.

- In the main event, Claudio Castagnoli retained the ROH World Championship against Dustin Rhodes.

- With Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, Satnam Singh, and Chris Sabin watching on, Wardlow dominated Ryan Nemeth en route to a successful TNT Championship defense.

- Tensions continued to rise between Andrade El Idolo and Private Party; after the duo put their hands on Jose the Assistant, Andrade warned them that everything has consequences.

- FTW Champion HOOK made it clear that he doesn't care about Angelo Parker and Matt Menard expressing their interest in his title, but the duo emphasized that they want a taste of the gold.

- Anna J.A.S. helped Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo steal the win in their match against Ruby Soho and Santana.

- Powerhouse Hobbs picked up a dominant win and struck Ricky Starks' signature pose prior to the pinfall to mock his opponent at All Out. After the match, The Factory attacked Starks backstage.
