Brie Bella Says It's Hard For Daniel Bryan To Be Around Wrestling

Brie Bella says that it is a challenge for her husband, Daniel Bryan, to stay around professional wrestling after his retirement earlier this year.

Brie was asked about her husband during an interview with Sky Sports with both Bella twins to promote the current WWE tour of the United Kingdom.

Bryan is currently the General Manager of WWE's Smackdown brand, and appears weekly on both that and the Talking Smack wrap-up show that appears each Tuesday night on the WWE Network.

"He is still surrounded by wrestling and still gets to be creative," Brie said. "It's obviously hard that he can't get in the ring but to be around his friends and part of the business in some way helps him, even though he will tell you: 'Yeah - but I want to be in the ring!' "

Bryan retired as an active wrestler back in February for medical reasons after a series of concussions in the ring. His final match was in April of 2015.

Brie Bella, meanwhile, has not been in the ring since Wrestlemania, after which she announced a hiatus from competition. Brie currently is pregnant with their first child. Brie was asked about a return to the ring during the interview with Sky Sports.

"I miss wrestling so much and cannot wait to make a comeback," she said. "Would I like to wrestle my sister? I do enjoy that, but I'd like to come back as a Bella Twin and take on Lita and Trish Stratus. You need to make that happen!"

Previously, Brie has spoken about how she and Bryan continue to argue about him wrestling, referring to it as the biggest argument in their marriage.
