Brock Lesnar Returns On 1/23 WWE Raw, Attacks Bobby Lashley

Brock Lesnar is back.

After being away from WWE programming for over three months, Brock Lesnar is back in WWE. Lesnar made his monumental return to the company's red brand by attacking Bobby Lashley during the main event match.

At the end of the show, Austin Theory defended the WWE United States Championship against Lashley in a No Disqualification Match. Both stars capitalized on the stipulation, as weapons came into play early and often. From a chair and a table to a fire extinguisher and more, the two foes waged war. Lashley seemingly had the upper hand in the closing moments until Lesnar arrived. He attacked the former WWE Champion and laid him out. Lesnar proceeded to hit Theory with an F5 onto Lashley, and the referee counted the pin. As a result, Theory retained the title.

Lashley and Lesnar feuded throughout 2022. Roman Reigns helped Lashley beat Lesnar and win the WWE Championship at WWE Royal Rumble 2022. Lesnar then defeated Lashley at WWE Crown Jewel in November after he cost "The All Mighty" the United States Championship on the October 10 episode of WWE Raw.
