Speaking to Lucha Libre Online (translation via Luis Pulido), Velasquez expressed his excitement over his AAA return.

“For me, it’s an honor to return back home with AAA and all of the wrestlers. Everyone that works here is great, and I am happy to get the opportunity to work here again. Once again, it’s a dream being here!” he said.

Before transitioning into wrestling, Veslasquez was a former UFC Heavyweight Champion and widely considered to be one of the best heavyweights ever during his time.

When asked how he managed his run in UFC and wrestling, Cain said, "We are all the same, if want to do something, you can do it. It’s inside of you, and if you want to do it, you can but do it with passion. Passion is all you need.”

It is unknown when Cain will return to the ring following AAA TripleMania Regia.
