Cameron Grimes studied the tapes. He thought he devised the correct gameplan. He was ready to embarrass everyone. Just like Ted DiBiase.
Sadly, all the tape study, the Xs and Os, and the countless shots in the gym did not prepare him for being crossed up by a former WNBA star.
On Wednesday's NXT, Grimes watched an old clip of Ted DiBiase embarrassing a young child by saying he would give him money if he could dribble a basketball. DiBiase of course kicked the ball away from the child before he could complete the task. At first, Grimes didn't watch the full video. After watching the video, he was schooled by former WNBA player Anriel Howard. Finally, Grimes just decided to punch the third person in the face.
Maybe, Grimes is lacking an assistant. Enter Virgil.
Sadly for Virgil, he is damaged goods thanks to Ted DiBiase.
