CM Punk And AJ Lee To Be Featured In A Horror Film

From the mat to Hollywood.

Making the transition from the squared circle to the movie screen has been one that has become normal for current and former professional wrestlers. The latest to have done so is former 3-time World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and former 3-time WWE Divas Champion April Mendez (AJ Lee). The married couple will be featured in the updated version of the film 'Rabid' which is a remake of David Cronenberg's 1977 film which was about a woman who was injured in a car accident and she developed an opening on her body which eventually led to a breakout that spread throughout Canada and caused a major breakout in the country.

The Soska Sisters Jen & Sylvia are the putting the film together and they shared a photo of themselves on set during the pre-production stage of the film.

The Soska Sisters have made two films for WWE Studios which are 'See No Evil 2' and 'Vendetta'. Their next project is not for WWE but will feature two of the company's former stars, CM Punk and AJ Lee. There is no information on when this film will be released but CM Punk will play the role of "Billie" and AJ will play the role of a character named "Kira".
