- Responding to a question from the WWE on FOX Twitter account, CM Punk believes that Bret Hart should be considered WWE's Mr. SummerSlam (followed by himself, of course).
- This weekend, Jon Moxley's current reign as IWGP United States Champion (his second) surpasses Kenny Omega's reign of 210 days as the longest single title reign in the short history of the championship. Moxley already owns the record for most combined days as champion at approximately 340 days, more than 100 days than the next person which is Juice Robinson at 237 days between his two title reigns.
