CM Punk has been out of wrestling since 2014 when he walked away following the WWE Royal Rumble.
During his time in WWE, Punk competed in seven WrestleMania matches, including Money in the Bank and a WWE Heavyweight Title bout. But it's his final WrestleMania bout against The Undertaker that stands out most to the former WWE Champion.
"Given all the circumstances leading up to it and everything that happened after it, that's the most defining punk rock moment of my entire career," Punk told Robbie Fox on My Mom's Basement. "I didn't care about anything. I was a man possessed and I simultaneously didn't give a fuck and cared way too much at the same time. I went out there and fucking absolutely destroyed it. They couldn't follow me, no matter what they said. People, to this day, will be like, 'You never main evented WrestleMania.' Yes, I did. It was that one. You should've packed it up and fucking went home after that."
Punk continued by saying that he hasn't watched the match back since it happened.
Undertaker was victorious in the bout, running his WrestleMania undefeated streak to 21-0.
