Corey Graves Says He's Working With NXT Talent On Character Development

Corey Graves has taken up a new gig.

Graves is a former wrestler who retired in 2014 due to concussion issues and transitioned into a broadcasting role. Graves is currently the lead color commentator on WWE Raw, but he revealed that he's been helping at NXT as well.

"I've recently started working with the NXT talent on helping develop characters and things of that nature, and I've really enjoyed it thus far," Graves told Brian Jones of PopCulture. "So I'm really looking forward to working with NXT a lot more as the year progresses. I'd like to remind everybody one more time that I have been cleared to compete and I can't think of a better scenario for me to step back in the ring than alongside my beautiful wife."

Graves is married to Carmella.

Graves revealed in February 2022 that he had been cleared to compete, but he has not stepped back into the ring for an official match.

Carmella is set to compete at WWE Elimination Chamber in an Elimination Chamber match for the chance to earn a shot at the Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania 39. Fans can check out the lineup for WWE Elimination Chamber by clicking here.
