According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, The Miz did not work WrestleMania 36. The Miz, who is one-half of the current SmackDown Tag Team Champions with John Morrison, did not have an announced match from WrestleMania 36. However, The Usos and The New Day are set to clash on Friday's SmackDown with the winners earning a SmackDown Tag Team Title shot against Miz & Morrison at WrestleMania 36.

Miz worked the Mar. 20 episode of WWE SmackDown, teaming with Morrison to defeat Heavy Machinery (Otis & Tucker).

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Miz is sick, though it is not confirmed if he contracted coronavirus or what his symptoms are. According to Meltzer, Miz being sick played a role in Roman Reigns' decision to not work WrestleMania 36.

It was reported on Thursday night that Reigns, who is immunocompromised, did not feel comfortable working the tapings and made the decision to pull out of his match with Goldberg.

Fightful will have live coverage of WWE SmackDown beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
