Damian Priest Not Facing Killian Dain Due To Injury, Kushida Returns On 12/4 NXT

There's been a change for Wednesday's NXT as Damian Priest has not been medically cleared to compete due to a rib injury and will no longer be facing Killian Dain.

News of Priest's injury and absence from the scheduled match was first noted on Wednesday's WWE's The Bump. It is unknown if Dain will receive a new opponent or if the match will be rescheduled for a later date.

In other NXT news, it's been confirmed that Kushida will return to action on Wednesday's episode. No opponent has been announced. Kushida was listed as "day-to-day" on the Oct. 10 NXT injury report after re-aggravating his wrist.

After spending several weeks on the shelf, Kushida will return to action tonight on NXT.

The Japanese Superstar suffered a wrist injury in late September, then re-aggravated it in a one-on-one bout with WWE United Kingdom Champion WALTER, which forced him out of action. Now that he’s healed up, how will Kushida fare in his return to the ring? Find out tonight at 8/7 C on USA!

As of now, the only match scheduled for Wednesday's NXT is Rhea Ripley against Dakota Kai.

Fightful will have live coverage of NXT beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
