Dante Martin is already pegged as a future star for AEW and has shared the ring with top talent such as Malakai Black, Cody Rhodes, FTR, and The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks).
While his brother Darius has been out of action, Martin has been teaming wiht Lio Rush on television. The duo picked up a victory on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, defeating Lee Moriarty & Matt Sydal.
Speaking during the AEW Full Gear media scrum, Martin revealed who has been giving him advice backstage as he continues to ascend up the AEW ladder.
"If it's not Lio, right now it's Dean Malenko or Jerry Lynn, for sure," he said.
Later during the scrum, Martin noted that Eddie Kingston has been helping him with promos.
"I talk to Eddie Kingston a lot. Eddie Kingston is one of the best guys out there for that and the amount of knowledge he has is insane," he said.
Martin was part of the AEW Full Gear Buy-In show. He was interrupted by The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) after being asked about Team Taz offering him a spot in the group.
