Date Set For Hearing In Sonya Deville Case

There is a date for a hearing in the Sonya Deville stalker case.

PWInsider reports that a hearing is scheduled for November 12 in The Hillsborough County Court in Tampa, Florida in the case of Phillip A. Thomas. Thomas was arrested in August after allegedly breaking into Deville's home and attempting to kidnap her. According to the report, the hearing is related to the temporary injunction filed against Thomas in order to prevent him from approaching or contacting Deville or her family.

Thomas was previously denied bail by Hillsborough Circuit Judge Catherine Catlin who labeled Thomas as a "threat to the community" saying, “I don’t see any way we can protect our community in Hillsborough County if we give him bail. A GPS on him gives me no peace of mind. A GPS monitor does nothing for me.”

Deville was last seen on WWE television at SummerSlam where she lost a "Loser Leaves WWE" match against Mandy Rose. Deville's match against Rose at SummerSlam was originally scheduled to be a hair vs. hair contest, but was changed.

It was previously reported that Deville's lawyer didn't believe it was a good idea for Sonya to shave her head and show up to court bald while legal proceedings are taking place in the case against her stalker.
