The night that he lost a match to Triple H that saw Triple H's career on the line, it was Dave Batista who would announce that he's hanging up his boots. Shortly after WrestleMania, the WWE legend-turned Hollywood star posted a heartfelt message to Twitter.
Batista retires at the age of 50, after a storied career that primarily ended in 2010. He had a brief return in 2014 before his most recent appearances, serving as his farewell. He ends his career as a six-time world champion in WWE, in addition to two Royal Rumble wins, and four reigns as a tag team champion. Batista also main evented two WrestleMania shows, winning one against Triple H in 2005, who would go on to be his final foe.
