Dominick Mysterio is set to appear on WWE Raw to confront Seth Rollins.

Dominick and his father Rey Mysterio were invited to Raw by Seth Rollins. Rollins put Rey on the shelf by jamming his eye into the point of the steel steps, putting him "out of action" indefinitely. As of now, Rey has not been cleared to return.

From WWE:

Last Monday on Raw, Seth Rollins crashed an exclusive interview with Rey Mysterio, who gave an update on his status after the gruesome eye injury inflicted on him by The Monday Night Messiah. While Mysterio’s outlook is promising, he’s still not cleared for a return to the ring.

Despite that, Rollins had the audacity to invite the furious Mysterio and his son Dominik to Raw this week to help them understand the “sacrifice” he made for the greater good of the red brand. This morning, Domink confirmed on social media that he accepted the invitation and was headed to the WWE Performance Center.

Is Dominik walking into the lion's den and tempting The Monday Night Messiah?

Also announced for Monday Night Raw, Randy Orton will kick off the show after defeating Edge at Backlash in their WrestleMania rematch. The official word from WWE suggests that both men were injured.

From WWE:

The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever is in the books, and Randy Orton emerged victorious in a physically and emotionally draining battle against his former friend Edge. Now, The Viper will open Monday Night Raw just one night after proving his in-ring supremacy against The Rated-R Superstar.

After last night’s grueling battle, rumors have been swirling that BOTH Superstars sustained injuries in the match.

What condition will both Superstars be in after such a brutal marathon of a match? Will Orton look to close the book on his rivalry with Edge after such a demanding battle? Is there another Superstar that will find himself in The Viper’s path?

Randy Orton will reveal all of his thoughts to kick off Raw tonight at 8/7 C on the USA Network.

Edge is believed to have suffered a torn triceps injury. Reports of that injury first appeared on our premium Fightful Select service. Subscribe to support our exclusive and independent coverage of professional wrestling. You'll get access to exclusive news, and dozens of additional podcasts.

In addition, it was announced that asuka and Nia Jax will have a rematch for the Raw Women's Championship tonight. The two had their last match at Backlash, but it ended in a double count-out, meaning Asuka retained the title.

From WWE:

Asuka and Nia Jax have plenty of unfinished business after their Raw Women’s Championship Match ended in a double count-out at WWE Backlash. The Empress of Tomorrow retained her title but was clearly frustrated by the conclusion and landed one last attack on her rival before exiting up the ramp.

The bad blood has boiled for weeks, as the unpredictable Asuka has been repeatedly targeted by the towering Jax ever since Becky Lynch crowned her champion.

Will Asuka finally silence her most outspoken doubter, or will the most imposing female Superstar in WWE history back up the smack talk?

WWE has also announced that Ric Flair will be on Raw.

Woo! Don’t miss Ric Flair live tonight on Raw!

After an unforgettable WWE Backlash, what will “The Nature Boy” have to say after his former protégé Randy Orton prevailed over Edge in The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever — just as Flair predicted?

Be sure to tune in tonight to see the 16-time World Champion!

WWE has also announced that WWE Champion Drew McIntyre will team with 24/7 Champion R-Truth to take on the team of MVP and Bobby Lashley.

Champions will join forces tonight on Raw as WWE Champion Drew McIntyre teams with 24/7 Champion R-Truth to battle their mutual enemies, Bobby Lashley & MVP.

The King of Claymore Country prevailed over Lashley at WWE Backlash to retain his WWE Title after a highly physical encounter. Lashley & MVP were livid with Lana, whose arrival at ringside led to her husband eating a massive Claymore for the loss. Will Lashley & MVP be able to put last night’s disappointment behind them to focus on a victory?

There’s likely no love lost from McIntyre, who Lashley underhandedly attacked before their Backlash match even started. Meanwhile, Truth likely has retribution on his mind after being attacked mercilessly with Lashley’s Full Nelson last week.

Don’t miss this tag team showdown tonight at 8/7 C on USA Network!

Fightful will have live coverage of WWE Raw beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
