Dominik Mysterio Makes First Main Roster AAA Mega Title Defense On WWE Raw
Dominik Mysterio makes history.
This week’s episode of WWE Raw featured a historic feat for AAA, as Dominik Mysterio defended his AAA Mega Championship against the original El Grande Americano. AAA has been under the WWE umbrella since April 2025, but this was the first time that the title has been defended on main roster programming.
As expected, the finish of the match involved a ton of names like Rayo, Bravo, and the current El Grande Americano. The OG version of Grande Americano was draped over the middle rope while he attempted to pull the mask off of his rival. This allowed Mysterio to hit him with a 619 and a frog splash to secure the win.
