EC3 "Fired" From Impact Wrestling, Feast Or Fired Briefcases Revealed

It's the end of an era for Impact Wrestling, and perhaps the start of another one.

Current NXT Superstar Ethan Carter III, more commonly known as EC3, was the last to open his "Feast or Fired" briefcase on Thursday's episode of Impact Wrestling. It was revealed that EC3 gained the "fired" briefcase, and would be gone from the company after over three years. EC3 had already appeared on NXT TV at a Takeover show in January, but has yet to debut on their weekly television show. When Fightful inquired, we were told there were no contractual hurdles that caused that, and it just worked out that way.

EC3 attempted to get out of opening the case, saying it was Taiji Ishimori's case instead. He was later beaten up by Brian Cage and sent packing

Ironically, Jeremy Borash was featured in the segment. He has since also signed with WWE.

Moose ended up walking away with the Impact Global Championship title opportunity, Petey Williams with an X-Division Championship title shot, and Eli Drake got a tag team title match. Drake initially threw his briefcase on the ground before picking it back up.
