Eddie Kingston: I Understand The House Of Black's Way, I'm Ready To Go Home

Eddie Kingston understands the House of Black.

In recent weeks, Kingston and Ortiz have been feuding with the House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, Buddy Matthews, and Julia Hart). Black and King defeated Kingston and Ortiz on January 13 episode of AEW Rampage. The following week, Ortiz questioned Kingston's changing attitude, as Eddie nearly hit Hart with a chair during the tag team match. Kingston responded by hitting Ortiz with a chair and walking out on his former friend.

In a promo on the January 27 episode of AEW Rampage, Kingston addressed his actions and noted that he has been trying to fight his demons, but he has given up. He stated that the House of Black was right, and now the real Eddie Kingston has to come out. Kingston also stated that he understands the House of Black and their way, and he's ready to go home.

"This is what you guys wanted, right? Let my demons push me. Keep it going. I can’t get away from it ever. So I quit. I quit. I’m done trying. House of Black, you were right. You’re right. The real Eddie Kingston has to come out now, and too bad Ortiz, you had to be the fatal shot. If you don’t like it, do something. House of Black, I understand your way. You just have to accept me. I understand you, I feel you. I’m ready to go home," Kingston said.

Fans will have to wait and see what Kingston meant by his words.

Meanwhile, the House of Black has seemingly reignited its feud with Darby Allin; Matthews unsuccessfully challenged him for the TNT Championship on the January 25 episode of AEW Dynamite.
