Elijah Smith scored a highlight reel KO at UFC Fight Night on August 9th, hitting a powerbomb on Toshiomi Kazama.
Late in the first round, Kazama went for a triangle, but Smith used his strength to lift Kazama and deliver a devastating powerbomb. Kazama went out cold.
After the fight, Smith said, “I knew I had to slam him correctly. Unfortunately, I had to slam him on his dome piece.”

The powerbomb KO was reminecesent of Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and his slam on Ricardo Arona in PRIDE FC over two decades ago.
Elijah Smith is 8-1 in his MMA career, including back-to-back wins in the UFC following this victory over Kazama.
