Austin Theory has arrived.
At Thursday's NXT live event in Daytona, FL, EVOLVE Champion Austin Theory made his NXT debut. Theory competed against Bronson Reed in singles competition. Theory made a surprise appearance at NXT TakeOver: Toronto on Aug. 10, being shown in the crowd, a usual indication that a talent is about to join NXT. On Aug. 14 it was announced that Theory had joined the WWE Performance Center.
Despite wrestling in NXT, Theory is not finished with EVOLVE. He is scheduled to defend his EVOLVE Championship against Josh Briggs at EVOLVE 136 on Sept. 21. The night before at EVOLVE 135, he will compete in singles competition against NXT superstar Babatunde.
