Big E Discusses His Lust For Twitter And Xavier Woods Having Excellent Eyesight

Big E lives and he learns, and he was taught a lesson while he was out with an injury.

While sidelined after knee surgery this Spring, Big E was nothing short of a Twitter star. With the arduous and demanding road schedule put on pause, the WWE mainstay was significantly more active on Twitter. At one point, he got far too ambitious and opened up his direct messages. It didn't last very long, and he understood the err of his ways.

"Horrible idea. It was Woods' idea and I regretted it immensely," Big E told Fightful. "It was just too much. It was too much. I had fun during my hiatus a little bit. Someone asked me for a picture of myself and I sent them a picture of my nipple, ‘cause it was funny to me at the time. But then the internet can swallow you whole if you allow it to. I like to dabble. Actually I do more than dabble, I have a bit of a problem. I’m on my phone way to much."

Big E was the Belle of the ball on Twitter during that period, and has subsequently reduced his usage since returning to the ring. It's paid off in the form of another WWE Smackdown Tag Team Title reign, but he admits that he misses it.

"I do. I had more of a lust for Twitter when I had the time; I was just sitting around the house. I mean, I was doing rehab, I was working out. But I had more time for my mind to wander. And that was mostly the problem, is my mind just wanders. I just don’t have the same desire I had to. I’m sorry. Nothing really piques my interest these days," said Big E.

Among Xavier Woods' other fantastic ideas included him wearing glasses during the formative promo that led to New Day. When we asked Big E where the glasses went, he would go on to insinuate that Xavier Woods is fake blind.

"Oh, he did have glasses, didn’t he? He was trying to look more erudite, know what I mean? Weren’t they like the Malcom X [specs]? That boy can see well. In fact he has Lasik. He’s had Lasik for years!" Big E exclaimed.
