Chris Danger Talks His Debut Match At DPW, Having A Hole In His Arm After A Table Spot

Chris Danger recalls his first match.

In November 2023, Chris Danger, who is also known DenkOps on YouTube, had his first professional wrestling match, competing against Shawn Spears. This was a huge leap for Danger, as he had only dipped his toe in the world of wrestling by being a on-screen figure for Deadlock before making his in-ring debut.

While speaking to Fightful for a new interview, Danger recalled being hesitant about doing a table spot in his first match.

"Oh, yeah. Tell me about it. About a year ago, I started training. Had my first match a couple months ago. See if we can get a shot for the camera here. No, see, here’s the thing. When they say, ‘Oh, we’re going to have a table in this match,’ I feel I’m not deep enough into it yet where I can make those political decisions. ‘Nah, I don’t think I’m doing that.’ So we just kinda went with it."

Danger also recalled having a big hole in arm after the match and how that didn't prevent him from finishing the bout.

"I mean, the craziest thing about it—and I was telling somebody this the other day—so I get to the back and there’s a hole in my arm. But it’s not leaking, it’s not dripping. It’s just open. It’s wide open and there’s no blood coming out. So even during the match, the ref was like, ‘Are you okay? You want to keep going?’ I’m like, ‘Uh, I think so?’ ‘Cause if it was pouring all over the place, spilling everywhere, I’d probably be like, ‘Eh, maybe let’s get this wrapped up right quick and we can get back [to it.]’ But I was like, ‘Let’s just go.’"
