Thunder Rosa Says She Is Living Her Dream Every Time She Shows Up To Work With AEW

Thunder Rosa is loving being a part of All Elite Wrestling.

La Mera Mera recently sat down with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp and said that she is feeling great in AEW. Not only is she thankful for them putting more eyes on her and her company, Mission Pro Wrestling, but she says she is living her dream every time she goes to work.

"I am feeling great. I love working for AEW. This company has given me such a humongous platform that has not only been helping me get more eyes to my brand but get more eyes onto the product that I’m creating, which is Mission Pro Wrestling. It’s been an amazing journey and honestly, I just love coming to every city and love feeling that this is not a job. This is living my dream every time I’m here," Thunder Rosa said.

Thunder Rosa made her AEW debut in August 2020 while she was still a member of the NWA's roster. Despite not being signed by the company, she would continue to be a regular, even appearing in the first Women's Division main event of Dynamite on March 17, 2021. Rosa was officially signed to full-time deal with AEW in July 2021.

Rosa continued on to say that she's flattered that Tony Khan and the company have confidence in her and her abilities. She added the following:

"It’s very flattering, honestly. You never think that somebody will do and go ways to get you because they see the talent and the possibilities and they see you as a brand and they know what you can bring to the table. It was pretty obvious at All Out. You saw it. A lot of the stuff happened was organic. It’s not forced and people are learning how to love this—which is Thunder Rosa—because they know every time I’m in the ring, I bring the passion. I bring the real fight. They know I’m a warrior, that I do not give up. No matter what the result is. To feel like my boss has that confidence in me and my abilities is pretty awesome."

Rosa featured prominently at AEW's All Out, making it to the final two of the Casino Battle Royale before being eliminated by the debuting Ruby Soho. In the time since then, she has picked up consecutive victories on both AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation, boosting her spot in the rankings and bringing her ever closer to another shot at Dr. Britt Baker and the AEW Women's World Championship.

Fightful provides live coverage of AEW Dynamite and Rampage every Wednesday and Friday night as well as results from Dark and Elevation on Mondays and Tuesdays.
