WWE is facing a billion dollar era for Smackdown Live if reports are true, but first, they have to get WWE Raw for May 21st in the books after a crazy two months of travel, big events and more.
Below are notes for the show.
- Kurt Angle will kick off the show and be interrupted by a returning Stephanie McMahon, who will also be interrupted by Roman Reigns and later Kevin Owens. This will lead to a match between Owens and Reigns, and later Owens & Jinder Mahal vs. Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns.
- Roman Reigns vs. Jinder Mahal will be added to Money in the Bank.
- Sami Zayn's promo will be interrupted by Bobby Lashley.
- Renee Young will interview Alexa Bliss backstage before her match with Ember Moon.
- Stephanie McMahon will be in a backstage segment with Kurt Angle, Finn Balor, Braun Strowman.
- No Way Jose vs. Baron Corbin, Chad Gable vs. Dolph Ziggler, B-Team vs. Breezango are all set for the show. Also, a MITB qualifier between Natalya, Dana Brooke, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan.
- Stephanie McMahon will moderate the Nia Jax & Ronda Rousey contract signing.
- Bobby Roode vs. Elias (again).
- Finn Balor vs. Braun Strowman main events the show.
